The bike will show charging is occurring in a couple of different ways

The charging box,
-
The battery bar,
-
The voltage indicator
Instructions for charging and additional information can also be found
on the top of the charging box
Light is Red:
The bike is being
charged
Light is Green:
The bike is fully
charged
The battery bar and volt indicator
The charging box
The Battery Bar:
The battery bar will show high to low. This will give a general indication
of how much charge is left in the battery.
The Volt Indicator:
The volt indicator (reading 83V in the above photo) displays how much
volt is registered in the battery. As the battery is being charged, this
number will increase. As the bike is being ridden, this number will
decrease.
We recommend you become familiar with using this as an accurate way to
read how much charge is left in the battery.
