Attention.
Before installing the equipment,
carefully read the "SAFETY WARN-
INGS" contained in the package.
SAFETY WARNINGS
Read the following warnings care-
fully as they provide important in-
structions regarding the safe use,
installation and maintenance of the
equipment.
• After having removed the packing,
make sure that the equipment is in-
tact.
• The system must be installed in com-
pliance with current safety Standar-
ds.
• To avoid injury, the equipment must
be secured to the wall according to
the installation instructions.
•
An omnipolar switch, with con-
tacts separated by at least 3mm,
must be installed upstream from
the audio/video entry control sy-
stem.
• The equipment must not be expo-
sed to dripping or splashes of wa-
ter.
• Do not obstruct the openings or
slots used for ventilation or heat
disposal.
• Before connecting the equipment,
make sure that the rating plate data
corresponds to that of the distribu-
tion network.
• This equipment should, like all the
system equipment, be used only for
the purpose for which it was explicitly
designed; any different use is impro-
per and dangerous.
GB
INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
• The manufacturer declines all liability
for any damage as a result of impro-
per, incorrect or unreasonable use.
• Before performing any cleaning or
maintenance operation, disconnect
the equipment from the power sup-
ply network by opening the system
switch.
• In case of failure and/or malfunction
of the devices, detach them from
the power supply and do not tamper
with them.
• Should the device require repair, con-
tact a manufacturer-authorized tech-
nical service centre only.
• Failure to comply with the above
instructions may compromise the
equipment's safety.
• The installer must make sure that the
information for the user, where appli-
cable, is present on the devices.

VRW2 video entry control
The video entry control unit is com-
posed of a wall-mounted unit equipped
with a receiver and monitor (fig. 1).
VEPW2 entry panel
The video entry control panel is a wall
mounted unit that features a double
call button that activates the same ex-
tension (fig. 1). A green LED illuminates
the button.
A sound confirms a received call.
The panel is composed of:
- A camera that can be manually ori-
ented, both horizontally and vertically,
by ±14° (fig. 2), with a fixed focus lens
(for dimensions of the area of coverage
see fig. 3);
- Green LED;
- Two potentiometers for the following
functions: 4):
P1
( ), to adjust the volume of the vid-
eo entry control;
P2
( ), to adjust the volume at the
entry panel.
It is possible to connect the video
entry control panel to a solenoid lock
maintained by a continuous flow of
current or one controlled by an im-
pulse generating equipment (12 V AC
or DC 0.5 A).
It is best to install the panel in a shel-
tered area to avoid direct rain or drip-
ping.
VPSW2 power supplier
This consists of an AC/DC converter,
which is electronically and thermally
protected against overloads and short
circuits.
It provides continuous stabilized volt-
age of 14 V DC.
A single power supplier is provided for
systems connected to the te e
– of the video entry control.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY
VRW2 video entry control
Fix the socket directly to the wall (fig.
5), or in the built-in box (fig. 6 or fig. 7)
using the provided screws and plugs.
If the cables arrive from a duct outside
the wall, run the cable through at the
arrows as shown in figure 8.
Avoid excessive tightening of screws
on walls that are not perfectly flat.
Connect (see you "INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CONNECTION") and place the video
entry control on the metal socket as
indicated in figure 10.
VEPW2 Entry panel
Unscrew blocking screws and disas-
semble plate from base (fig. 11).
Remove the cable-grip plate (fig. 12).
ATTENTION. The connection cables
must be inserted through the pro-
vided cable passages (fig. 13).
Fix the base to the wall using the
provided screws and screw anchors
(fig. 14).
Connect (see you "INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CONNECTION") and replace cable-grip
plate.
Before assembling the plate insert the
upper part into the head and then
tighten blocking screws (fig. 15).
VPSW2 power supplier
The unit can be installed in boxes with
DIN rail (EN 50022).
For overall dimensions see fig. 16.
The unit can also be installed against
the wall using the two provided plastic
tabs (fig. 17).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTION
WARNING
Do not open or tamper with the

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
In case of damage, modifications
or interventions on system devices
(power supplier, etc.) request help
from specialized professionals.
VRW2 Video entry control
The unit has three buttons for the fol-
lowing controls (fig. 1):
Door lock release
Entry panel activation
Auxiliary services(

)
And of the following controls (fig. 1):
Brightness control
Contrast control
Call volume control
(
1
) The auxiliary services control can be
used to activate, by means of suitable
devices that are not included in the
kit, auxiliary functions such as stairway
lights, additional openings and relays
at low voltage.
A call from the external unit is charac-
terized by a two-tone sound.
VEPW2 Entry panel
In order to write your name on the
label, extract the label cover first, then
the label (fig. 19).
