Quick Start
7. Press the mode button ‘2’ four times to enter the unit of measurement kph/mph
Set MPH or KPH
Measuring in xx
Where xx = current unit of measure
Select UP or Down arrow to change selection.
8. Press the mode button ‘2’ five times to enter the Pager Test screen

Press UP to Test
Select UP to temporarily trigger pagers
IMPORTANT!
Ensure pagers are charged and within range.
9. Rotate unit towards oncoming traffic minimising angle. The LCD screen should face
away from the traffic.
10. The unit will continue to operate until switched off or settings are changed.
IMPORTANT!
The device and pagers should be recharged at the end of each operational period.
Downloading Data
1.
Download and install latest logging application software.
The application is Microsoft Windows compatible.
2.
Connect the Boylan Workzone Radar via the USB cable provided to port ‘7’ on the
unit
3.
Activate Data Export Utilities application on computer
4.
Connect to Radar
5.
Set Date Format
6.
Save Records to computer
Define filename and location, the ‘csv’ data may be read by most spreadsheet
programs but was written with Microsoft Excel in mind.
