Installation
1. Make a 6

" (172mm) cutout using the supplied template. It is not necessary to remove fiberglass insulation that may be
behind the wall.
2. Run wire from the amplifier to the cutout. Allow an extra foot of wire at the cutout. Strip

" (12mm) of insulation off the
wire, and tightly twist the wire strands.
3. Remove the speaker grille. Carefully pry on one side with an awl or small screwdriver.
4. Connect the wire to the speaker. Maintain consistency of the

(red) and
–
(black) connections by using the markings on
the wire. Failure to do so will result in degraded sound. There are several ways that wire strands are identified:
