Introduction

If the monitor is used in medical practice
(in accordance with the legislation govern-
ing the operation of medical devices), it
should be calibrated at regular intervals
(see page 62).

The boso medicus blood pressure monitor
is suitable for patients of all ages with an
upper arm circumference of be-tween 22
and 48 cm. The monitor is not suitable for
neonatals.

Wireless communication devices, such as
home networking devices, mobile phones,
cordless phones and their base stations,
walkie-talkies can affect this blood pres-
sure monitor. Therefore, a minimum
distance of 11 feet should be kept from
such devices.
