It is mandatory that the Microsoft Bluetooth
driver is used to send the measured values via
Bluetooth from the TPA 200 to the PC/laptop. If
KTS modules and ESI[tronic] 2.0 are used, the
Toshiba Bluetooth driver cannot be used.
1.
Start the "TPA Startcenter" software on the
PC/laptop.

The "TPA Startcenter" software must be ac-
tivated on the PC/laptop in order to pair and
activate the Bluetooth link.

Switch on the TPA 200.

On the TPA 200 a maximum of eight Blue-
tooth devices are displayed after the search.
If the PC/laptop, on which the "TPA Start-
center" is installed, is not displayed, the
reason for this may be, that more than eight
Bluetooth devices have been found. In this
case the Bluetooth devices, which are not
being used, must be shut down.

connected.

The software of the TPA 200 can be updated.
The vehicle database is also updated. The soft-
ware update is always started beginning with
the "TPA Startcenter" software.

Information in the case of any
faults with Bluetooth
Fault
Remedial measure
The PC/laptop is not rec-
ognized as a Bluetooth de-
vice by the TPA 200.
Check the Bluetooth set-
tings on the PC/laptop:
In the
Options
tab in the
Search
input box the op-
tion for
Bluetooth devices
can determine this PC/
laptop
must be activated,
and in the
Links
input box
the option for
Bluetooth
devices can establish a
link with this PC/laptop
must also be activated.
Win 7 and Win 8:
If KTS modules and
ESI[tronic] 2.0 are used,
the PC/laptop is not rec-
ognized as a Bluetooth link
by the TPA 200.
If KTS modules and
ESI[tronic] 2.0 are used,
the "DDC" software is in-
stalled on the PC/laptop.
The Microsoft Bluetooth
driver must be selected in
the "DDC".
Bluetooth range problems
between the TPA 200 and
PC/laptop.
We recommend use of
the Class 1 Bosch Blue-
tooth USB adapter
(1 687 023 777).
5.10 Information in the case of
any faults

Remedial measure
TPA 200 after turning on
without a display.
Supply the TPA 200 with
power via the USB con-
necting cable.
If the "Charge" symbol ap-
pears on the display, ful-
ly charge the battery.
Then turn on the TPA 200
without a USB connect-
ing cable.
"Charge" symbol does not
appear on the display.
Check the USB connect-
ing cable or other USB
interface with the com-
puter, or use a different
computer.
The sensor cannot be read,
because for example the
battery voltage of the sen-
sor is too low, or because
only three of the four sen-
sors are detected.
The sensor cannot be pro-
grammed.
Repeat the search or pro-
gramming and check
whether the sensor is
faulty.
