Softening salt
You can soften the water with
softening salt.
Filling softening salt
If the Refill softener salt indicator
lights up, top up the softener salt in
the softener salt reservoir
immediately before the program
starts. The amount of softening salt
required depends on the water
hardness. The higher the water
hardness, the greater the amount of
softening salt required.
Set water softening
Set the device to the water hardness.

Determine the water hardness and the
desired setting value.
PAY ATTENTION!
†Dishwasher detergent can damage the water
damage hardening.

Only fill the water softener
reservoir with dishwasher
softening salt.
†The rinse aid container can be
corrode softening salt.

To ensure that spilled softening
salt is rinsed out of the rinse aid
container, fill the softening salt
into the softening salt reservoir
immediately before the program
starts.
