3. Unscrew the safety cover of the cable gland ⑦.
4. Detach the adapter plate ⑧ from the terminal box.
5. Screw the adapter plate firmly to the metric cable gland on the power
cable.

⇒ Before attaching the adapter plate to the power cable, visually inspect
the O-ring to verify that it is in a proper state and correctly positioned at
the power cable gland. If the O-ring is missing, do not use the power ca‐
ble. In this case, contact your Rexroth sales or service partner.
6. Feed the power cable up to the adapter plate through the opening in the
terminal box and re-fasten the adapter plate to the terminal box.
Tightening torque of the screws ⑥: 9 Nm (±10%)
⇒ Before attaching the adapter plate ⑥ to the terminal box, check the
O-ring ⑤ inserted in the adapter plate for proper condition and correct
position.
7. Connect the cores according to the connection diagram for standard or
double cabling.
Comply with the following tightening torques:
Screw tightening torques in Nm (±10%) for power connection

8. Close and fasten the terminal box cover.
Wet the thread of the fastening screws for the lid ① with liquid threa‐
dlocker and then fasten the lid with all fastening screws.
Tightening torque of the screws: 6.5 Nm (±10%)
⇒ Before attaching the terminal box cover to the terminal box, check for
proper condition and the correct position of the glued seal ② on the ter‐
minal box cover.
Double cabling Motor connection requires two power cables if an appropriate single cable
cannot be used because of the large bending radius or because of its dimen‐
sions.
