Loss of IP degree of protection due to damaged
or wrongly mounted or not sufficiently fastened
covers.

NOTICE

Ensure that the sealing of the cover is not damaged. Mount the cover properly.

The cover may not be declined. Tighten the screws with the correct tightening

torque (refer to 

tab. 10-2 "Tightening torques" on page 20

).

The connections are located below the housing cover.

Demount the cover

1. Demount the cover by loosening the screws (see the following figure).

Using the cable grommet

1. Select the corresponding cable grommet from the table (see 

tab. 10-3 "Ca-

ble diameter and corresponding cable grommets" on page 23

).

The cable grommets and the plug to connect the keypad are in the deliv-

ered accessories kit.

2. Lay the cable grommet around the cable.
3. Plug the cable grommet into the housing.
4. Provide the cables, which are lead through a cable grommet, with a strain

relief.

Use a dummy sleeve

1. Cover not used openings with a dummy sleeve.
