15.1.2 Recommended charge pressure

▶ Charge pressure at motors connection must be according to recommended
pressure under all conditions, see

Recommended charge pressure - CA 10 - CA 40 motors 4-port connection. Valid for
oil viscosity 40 cSt..
▶ Changes to the factory settings must only be made by Bosch Rexroth specialist
personnel.
The hydraulic system must be such that the motor will recieve sufficient charge
pressure at the low-pressure port. This applies to all types of installations.
There are two distinct cases:
The motor operating in braking mode .
Required charge pressure at the inlet port is according to Fig. 22: Recommended
charge pressure - CA 10 - CA 40 motors 2-port connection. Valid for oil viscosity 40 cSt
and Fig. 23: Recommended charge pressure - CA 10 - CA 40 motors 4-port connection.
Valid for oil viscosity 40 cSt.

The motor operating in driving mode only
For CAB 10 - CAB 40, 2-port or 4-port connected motors. The pressure at the low-

NOTE!
The diagrams are valid for 1 bar (14.5 psi) case pressure. With increasing
case pressure the charge pressure must be increased accordingly. See
