Servo-hydraulic actuator
Obligations of the machine end-user
Bosch Rexroth AG
RE62270-B, 01.21
WARNING
Danger due to pressurized servo-hydraulic actuator! Risk
of injury! Severe injury when working on systems that
have not been shut down! Damage to property! Even
after the servo-hydraulic actuator was disconnected from
the electrical power supply the system is still under pres-
sure!
−
Observe the specifications of the system manufac-
turer and the system end-user.
−
Do not disconnect line connections, ports or compo-
nents as long as the servo-hydraulic actuator is pres-
surized.
WARNING
Danger due to magnetic and electro-magnetic fields in
the area of the servo-hydraulic actuator! Magnetic and
electro-magnetic fields existing in the direct vicinity of
electrical equipment may represent a serious danger to
persons with heart pacemakers, metal implants and
hearing aids.
−
If it is necessary for somebody with a heart pace-
maker to enter such an area, a doctor must be con-
sulted prior to doing so. The noise immunity of
implanted heart pacemakers differs so greatly that no
general rules can be given.
−
Persons with metal implants or metal splinters or
hearing aids have to consult a doctor before entering
such an area.
CAUTION
Uncontrolled system behavior! Risk of injury! The failure
of individual components can lead to malfunction of the
assembly and therefore to unforeseeable behavior!
−
Immediately have defective components exchanged.
CAUTION
Improperly laid lines and cables! Risk of injury!
−
Lay cables and lines so that no one can stumble over
them.
−
Lay cables and lines so that they cannot be damaged
by inflection or shearing.
−
Lay cables and lines so that their insulation cannot be
damaged due to exposure to excessive heat.
2.7
Personal protective equipment
Wear suitable protective equipment (e.g. safety glasses, safety shoes, protec-
tive gloves) when carrying out work (e.g. mounting, repair, maintenance) on the
servo-hydraulic actuator.
All parts of the protective equipment must be fully functional.
2.8
Obligations of the machine end-user
The machine end-user of the servo-hydraulic actuator is responsible that
●
the actuator is only used according to the intended purpose as defined in
these operating instructions.
●
the actuator is only stored, operated and maintained according to the speci-
fied operating and environmental conditions, in particular that the specified
limit values are not exceeded.
●
the operating personnel are instructed at regular intervals.
●
a danger zone is marked, if required.
