STO function with single-channel wiring and active safety unit
If the wiring (as illustrated above) between the active safety unit and
connector XG41 of the "T0 option" is to be a single-channel wiring, the wiring
has to be implemented as a "safe wiring". For this purpose, the following fault
exclusions have to be made:

Short circuits with other potentials
●
Short circuit with 24 V
●
Short circuit with ground

In the case of single-channel wiring between the active safety unit and
connector XG41 of the "T0 option", the OSSD output has to be designed with
"serial redundancy" according to SIL3.
