Maintenance

The system requires minimum maintenance. Maintenance must only be done by qualified
personnel. To keep the system in good condition, refer to the following sections:

The Master Unit can collect dust as a result of the internal fans.

–

Once a year you should use a vacuum cleaner to clean the air inlets of all units in the 19-
inch racks.

Check the connectors and grounding

Check all connections for wear or damage

–

Make sure all screw terminals and ground (PE) connections are fully tightened.

Perform a Walk Test

Regularly perform a Walk Test, according to local regulation or contractual obligations. See
Walk Test, page 48.
