Connecting to the control panel :

The mounting distances must be strictly kept. If not the sabotage security cannot be guaranteed.
In case of doubt perform a sabotage test using a neodymium magnet Ø8mm x16mm (same type as
working magnet).

Flush/surface mounting with ferromagnetic
materials:

When mounting in ferromagnetic materials, the EG2
flush mounting housing is used for MS-LZS.

EG2 housing:

ø18,5mm / ø of surface covered 24mm

When mounting on ferromagnetic materials, the AG8
surface mounting housing must be used with spacers for
the MSA-LZS

For surface mounting, the adjustment mark on the magnetic contact must show to the magnet.

Surface mounting with MSA-LZS:

The magnetic

and magnet are mounted parallel

contact

with the AG8 surface mounting housing.

The housing base is attached with non-magnetic 2.9 x
16mm countersunk screws.

The magnetic contact and magnet are inserted in the
housing base.

The upper part of the housing is placed onto the base
and snapped into position.

The magnetic contact and magnet are mounted on the
front side.

Mounting

The MS-LZS and MSA-LZS magnetic contacts with tamper switch for release monitoring are flush or
surface-mounted in/on window and door frames made of non-magnetic material. The magnetic contacts are
mounted and used in line with VdS guideline 2311. The bending radius of the connection cable must be at
least 3 mm.
