Selecting Vehicle

1. Select Vehicle from the Main Menu screen
to manually choose the vehicle, AutoID to
automatically identify the vehicle or enter the
VIN.
2. Select the vehicle specification options on each
screen until the complete vehicle information is
entered.
AutoID
AutoID uses the vehicle’s Mode 9 VIN information,
when available. Most vehicles from 2004 and newer
support AutoID, but some other older vehicles may
support Mode 9 too.
AutoID Operation:
1. Handset must be on and connected to the vehicle.

Make sure the key is ON and Engine is OFF
Choose vehicle selection method:
Manual Selection
Recent Vehicles
Cancel
SEARCH BY VIN
Select Vehicle

2. Select AutoID.
3. Once selected the handset will begin
communicating with the vehicle.
4. The vehicle must have the key on, engine off
(KOEO).
5. Once the VIN is retrieved it is compared to the
vehicle database.
6. If a match is found the vehicle selection
information will be displayed on the screen.
7. Wait for AutoID to finish.
