Marking additional lawn area (Type B see section 1)
Additional lawns can be connected with the same perimeter wire if
the additional lawn is smaller than 40 m
2
. The docking station needs to
be positioned in the main area.
Laying the perimeter wire around separated garden
(Type C see section 1).
Follow the same process as for the 1
st
garden.
Connect the wire to the docking station
after the perimeter wire has been laid around the entire cutting area.
Remember to leave 1 m straight line coming back from garden to the docking station.
Cut the perimeter wire
and strip off 10 – 15 mm of insulation.
Connect to the
left hand (red)
connector point.
Clip over the
docking station
cover.
After a few weeks, the wire will disappear under the grass.
For safety reasons blades cannot reach up to the edge of the mower therefore approximately 20 cm of lawn around the fixed object
and around the edge of the lawn will not be mown.
Determine the passage where the perimeter wire will run from the main area to the additional area.
Run the wire from the main area along the passage to the additional area. Do not fully immerse the pegs in the lawn,
as these will be used when the wire is returning to the main area.
Continue around the additional area in an anti-clockwise direction whilst maintaining the recommended
distances as described in section 5.
Lay the wire back to the main area through the same passage. The returning wire should be laid under the same
side of the pegs.
