Heat and separate the brazed joints of the coil’s inlet and outlet connections
(Fig.3).

Remove 5 screws (Fig.4).

The following step REQUIRES two people in order to be carried out
safely, and will provide the clearance needed to physically remove the
existing coil.
8.
Insert the coil replacemnent support bar in the following order.
a. 1st person - Lift the top section of the unit.
b. 2nd person - Insert temporary “
coil replacement support bar
” (Fig.6)
that will hold up the top section of the unit.
c. 1st person - Carefully lower the top section down onto the support bar.

Carefully remove the existing evaporator coil (Fig.7).

10. Remove the metal bracket from the existing evaporator coil (Fig. 8), and
install it on the new evaporator coil in the same location and orientation.
