Disconnect tool and/or charger from
power source before servicing.
Batteries
Be alert for battery packs that are
nearing their end of life.
If you notice

b e t w e e n c h a r g e s t h e n i t i s t i m e t o
replace the battery pack. Failure to do
s o c a n c a u s e t h e t o o l t o o p e r a t e
improperly or damage the charger.
Tool Lubrication
Y o u r B o s c h t o o l h a s b e e n p r o p e r l y
lubricated and is ready for use.
Motors
T h e m o t o r i n y o u r t o o l h a s b e e n

h o u r s
o f
dependable service. To maintain peak
efficiency of the motor, we recommend
it be examined every six months. Only a
g e n u i n e B o s c h r e p l a c e m e n t m o t o r
specially designed for your tool should
be used.
Bearings
Bearings which become noisy (due to
heavy load or very abrasive material
cutting) should be replaced at once to
avoid overheating and motor failure.
Cleaning
C e r t a i n
c l e a n i n g
agents and solvents
damage plastic parts.
Some of these
are: gasoline, car bon tetrachloride,
chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia
and household detergents that contain
ammonia.
Ventilation openings and switch levers
must be kept clean and free of foreign
matter. Do not attempt to clean by
i n s e r t i n g p o i n t e d o b j e c t s t h r o u g h
opening.
CLEANING BLADE HOLDER
Clean the saw blade holder regularly.
For this, remove the saw blade from the
tool and lightly tap footplate on a level
surface.
Regularly spray penetrating oil onto the
saw blade holder.
Check the guide roller regularly. If worn,

a u t h o r i z e d B o s c h F a c t o r y S e r v i c e
Center
Lubricate the guide roller occasionally
with a drop of oil.
To avoid accidents, always disconnect the battery pack from tool
before servicing or cleaning.
Operating Instructions
Bosh T101TP or T144DP whenever
possible.
•
Make sure that the jig saw’s orbital
setting is at 0 (zero)
•
Cut slowly so the blade will stay
straight in the cut.
