Electrical Safety

The dust extractor must be plugged into
a n o u t l e t p r o p e r l y i n s t a l l e d a n d
grounded in accordance with all codes
a n d o r d i n a n c e s . N e v e r r e m o v e t h e
grounding prong or modify the plug in
any way. Do not use any adapter plugs.
Check with a qualified electrician if you
are in doubt as to whether the outlet is
properly grounded.
If the dust extractor
should electrically malfunction or break
d o w n , g r o u n d i n g p r o v i d e s a l o w
resistance path to carry electricity away
from the user.

surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators.
There is an increased
risk of electric shock if your body is
grounded. If operating the dust extractor
i n d a m p l o c a t i o n s i s u n a v o i d a b l e ; a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be
used to supply the power to your dust
extractor. Electrician’s rubber gloves and
