Switching on and off
Switching on/off
There are various ways of switching the device
on/off:
Switching on/off using button

To switch on the device, press button

The device switches on.
To switch off the device, press and hold
down button

for longer than two
seconds.
The device switches off.
Note:
To be able to switch on the device,
the connected CRD radio must
already be switched on.
Switching on/off via the connected
radio
If you do not switch off the device with the
button

, you can switch it on/off by
switching the connected CRD radio off and on
again.

Switching on and off with micro-
phone 1
If microphone 1 is connected to the device, the
device can be switched on and off with
microphone 1 for announcements. For further
details, read the section "Microphone mode" in
the chapter "Adjusting the volume".
Switch microphone 1 on with the device
switched off.
The device automatically switches on and
allows announcements via the connected
loudspeakers.
Switch off microphone 1.
The device switches off again.
