7 FAULT DIAGNOSTICS
7.1 General troubleshooting
Motor
Possible error : Cable is broken

check by connecting the motor directly to the mains
Cable reel
Possible error : Cable is broken

check for current flow
Electronics module
Possible error:
defective

by process of elimination if no faults are found with the motor or
cable reel
7.2 Faulty resistor on motor electronics
Check motor electronics at any kind of repair.
7.2.1 Affected appliances
BSG82480/15 (from FD9006 to FD9008)
7.2.2 Symptom
Resistor R6 has not the specified value of 220
Ω.
The correct color coding of R6 ( with 220
Ω) is:

ring = red 2nd ring = red 3
rd
ring = brown
7.2.3 Solution
Exchange of motor electronics.
