Expansion Vessel
The expansion vessel will absorb the volume increase in the tank, avoiding a constant release of water over the
pressure relief valve.
The dimensioning of the expansion vessel is according the water pressure, water volume, temperature range and
pressure relief actuation value and, the installation manual shows the correspondent recommended values.

5.4 Hydraulic connections – recirculation
The recirculation allows instantaneous hot water availability in each consumption point without need of consuption
of the cold water in the pipes between the storage tank and the tap.
In this closed loop, a circulation pump is installed and connected to the corresponding connection in the storage
tank.
