7.1
Cleaning

Switch off the PC and all devices connected to it and
unplug the mains lead.
!
Do not use any abrasive powders or plastic-dissol-
ving cleaning agents. Ensure that no liquid penetra-
tes the interior of the device.

The interior of the PC housing must only be cleaned
by authorised, qualified personnel.
7.1.1
PC
The housing and the display may only be cleaned with
soft cloths and with neutral cleansing agents. Do not
use any abrasive cleaning agents or any rough work-
shop cleaning cloths!
7.1.2
Data carrier
Clean the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM with a disk cleaning kit
or wipe the silver side of the disk carefully with a soft,
lint-free cotton cloth. Do not use a paper towel, as this
can lead to scratches being formed.
7.1.3
DVD drive
Clean the DVD drive regularly with a cleaning disk for
the CD-ROM or DVD drive. These cleaning disks can be
obtained from the majority of computer or consumer
electronics retailers.
