GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. 

KNOW YOUR POWER TOOL

: Read the owner's manual carefully. Learn the tool's applications and limitations, as well as the specific potential hazards peculiar 

to it.

2. 

KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE 

and working order.

3. 

REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES

: Form habit of checking to see that adjusting keys and wrenches are removed from tool before turning it on.

4. 

KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN

: Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents.

5. 

DON'T USE IN DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT:

 Don't use power tools in damp or wet locations, or expose them to rain. Keep work area well lit. Don't use tool 

in presence of flammable liquids or gases.

6. 

KEEP CHILDREN AWAY:

 All visitors should be kept a safe distance from work area.

7. 

MAKE WORKSHOP CHILD PROOF

 with padlocks, master switches or by removing starter keys.

8. 

DON'T FORCE TOOL: 

It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

9. 

USE RIGHT TOOL:

 Don't force tool or attachment to do a job for which it was not designed; for example, don't use circular saw for cutting tree limbs or logs.

WEAR PROPER APPAREL:

 Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties, rings, bracelets, or other jewelry, which may get caught in moving parts. Non-

slip footwear is recommended. Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.

ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES:

 Also use face or dust mask if cutting operation is dusty everyday, eyeglasses only have impact-resistant lenses, they are NOT 

safety glasses.

SECURE WORK:

 Use clamps or vise to hold work when practical. It's safer than using your hand and it frees both hands to operate tool.

13. 

DON'T OVERREACH

: Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

14. 

MAINTAIN TOOLS WITH CARE:

 Keep tools sharp and clean for best and safest performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.

15. 

DISCONNECT TOOLS:

 When not in use, before servicing and when changing accessories such as blades, bits, cutters, disconnect tools from the power 

supply.

16. 

REDUCE THE RISK OF UNINTENTIONAL STARTING: 

Make sure that switch is in OFF position when the tool is plugged in.

17. 

USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES:

 Consult the owner's manual for recommended accessories. The use of improper accessories may cause risk of injury 

to persons.

NEVER STAND ON TOOL:

 Serious injury could occur if tool is tipped or if the cutting tool is accidentally contacted.

19. 

CORD CONNECTING:

 Connect the plug to the socket firmly. The socket should be FRENCH-Style or GERMAN-Style with earthing.

DIRECTION OF FEED:

 Feed work into a blade or cutter against the direction of rotation of blade or cutter only.

NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENDED

: Turn power off. Don't leave tool until it comes to a complete stop.

DON'T ABUSE CORD

: Never carry tool by cord or yank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edge.

GUARD AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK:

 Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes, radiators ranges and refrigerators.

24. 

USE OUT DOOR EXTENSION LEADS:

 When the tools is used outdoors. Use only extension cords intended for outdoor use and so marked. Inspect extension 

cords periodically and replace if damaged.

CHECK DAMAGED PARTS:

 a. Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it operates 

properly and perform its intended function,  b. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, its operation, c. A guard or other part that is dam-

aged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service centre unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual, d. Have defective switches 

replaced by an authorized service centre, e. Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.

CAUTION: 

The use of any accessory or attachment other than one recommended in this instruction manual may present a risk of personal injury.

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not use saw blade which are damaged or deformed.

2. Do not use the saw without the guards in position, especially after change of the mode and in good working order and properly maintained.

3. Replace the table insert when worn;

4. Use only saw blades recommended by the manufacture and which conform to EN 847-1, with a warning that the riving knife shall not be thicker than the 

width of the groove cut by the saw blade and not thinner than the boy of the blade.

5. Ensure that the arm is securely fixed when beveling.

6. Do not use saw blade manufactured from high speed steel.

7. Connect the saw to a dust collection device when sawing wood. In addition the operator shall be informed of factors that influence exposure of dust and 

the precautions mentioned e.g. type of material to be machined and the importance of local extraction ( capture or source) and proper adjustment of hoods/

baffles/chutes.

8. Wear suitable personal protective equipment when necessary, this could include a) Hearing protection to reduce the risk of induced hearing loss, b) Respira-

tory protection to reduce the risk of inhalation of harmful dust, c) Gloves for handling saw blades( saw blades shall be carried in a holder wherever practicable) 

and rough material;

9. Take care that the selection of the saw blade accounts for the material to be cut.

10. Always put the push-stick into storage when the push-stick is not in use.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING

- Operations instructions on factors influencing exposure to noise (e.g. use of saw blades designed to reduce the emitted noise, saw blade and machine main-

tenance

- Reports faults in the machine, including guards or saw blades, as soon as they are discovered.

AFETY OPERATION

1. Select the correct saw blade for the material to be cut.

2. Do not use the saw to cut other materials than recommended by the manufacturer.

3. Lifting and transportation information, information including where to lift and support the miter saw and then necessary a warning not to use guards for this

purpose.

4. Keep the floor area around the machine is level well maintained and free of loose materials e.g. chips and cut-offs.

5. Adequate general or localized lighting prescriptions and warning for correct guarding repositioning in miter saw and bench-sawing mode.
