To install the powder filter assembly,
perform the removal procedure in re-
verse.
Connecting or disconnecting the suction hose
CAUTION: Always make sure to secure the suction hose firmly. Otherwise it may cause an accidental personal injury.
NOTICE: Never force the suction hose for bending or stamp it. Never move the cleaner by a suction hose. Forcing, stamping and pulling the suction hose may
cause a breakage or deformation of the suction hose.
To connect the suction hose, insert either suction hose connector onto the mounting port of the tank and turn it clockwise until it locks.
To disconnect the suction hose, perform the installation procedure in reverse.
Connecting or disconnecting the aluminium tube
NOTICE: Never force the suction hose for bending or stamp it. Never move the cleaner by a suction hose or a aluminum tube. Forcing, stamping and pulling the
suction hose may cause a breakage or deformation of the suction hose.
To connect the aluminum tube, insert one end of the aluminum tube into the other suction hose connector until it locks.
To disconnect the aluminum tube, pull it out a little bit hard directly.
Installing or uninstalling the carrying handle
CAUTION: Always make sure to secure the carrying handle firmly. Otherwise it may cause an accidental personal injury or a damage of the tool.
To attach the carrying handle to the device, tighten the two screws by turning clockwise with a screwdriver. Insert the handle and then tighten the screws securely.
To uninstall the carry handle, perform the installation procedure in reverse.
Operating instructions
1. Check that the power switch is switched off (in position 0).
2. Check that the powder filter assembly has been installed into the machine.
3. Check that the tank cover is locked firmly by the buckle.
4. Connect the suction hose onto the machine.
5. Connect the aluminum tube onto the suction hose connector.
6. Carry the tool to the place where the dust is concentrated.
7. Put the power switch into position I in order to start the tool and move the aluminum tube forward or backward to collect the dry dust.
Maintenance
CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery cartridge is removed before attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.
NOTICE: Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the like. Discolouration, deformation or cracks may result.
To maintain product safety and reliability, repairs, any other maintenance or adjustment should be performed by Bormann authorized or factory service
centers, always using Bormann replacement parts.
Cleaning the powder filter assembly (HEPA)
Occasionally wash the powder filter in water, rinse and dry thoroughly in the shade before use. Never wash powder filters in a washing machine.
NOTE: Do not rub or scratch the powder filter with hard objects such as a brush and a paddle.
NOTE: The powder filters wear out in course of time. It is recommended to have some spares for them.
Cleaning the tool
From time to time wipe off the outside (cleaner housing and tank) of the cleaner and inside of the tank using a cloth dampened in soapy water. Clean out also
the suction mounting port of the tank.
