Mark the three holes at the front of the brake and
drill out with a 3/16” (4.76mm) bit. (Fig. D)

Flip board over and countersink the holes so the screws will be flush with the top of the deck. Attach the
BoardBrake.

Place the rubber fender washer * between the
spacer and the underdeck. (Fig. E)

Screw in the BoardBrake pedal.(Fig. F)
12.
Put on your safety gear and go for a test ride! Take it easy until you get used to the pedal and the brake
action. ALSO remember that the BoardBrake hangs below the deck and can catch up on such things as
speedbumps etc
Washers can be added to 'lengthen' the
spacer
if your deck is high off the pavement.
