Installation Instructions for BoardBrake

Lay your board, deck down/wheels up, on a flat surface

2. Place BoardBrake such that the BrakePad is
about 1/4” (6.35mm) from the REAR truck. (Fig. A)
3.
Mark where the REAR of the spacer touches the
deck. (Fig. B)
4.
Remove the BoardBrake and make a mark 3/8”
(9.53mm) FORWARD of the spacer mark. (Fig. C)
5.
Center this point on the deck.
6.
Drill a 3/4” (19.05mm) hole.
7.
Place the BoardBrake back on your board and center it. Align the REAR of the spacer with the REAR of the
3/4” brake pedal hole. (When the stainless steel springplate is firmly secured to the deck it will push the
BoardBrake back a little so the brake pedal hole in the spacer will be centered over the brake pedal hole in
the deck.)
