Operation
Introduction
The Model 205X is a general-purpose photoreceiver
with adjustable gain and bandwidth. These receivers
can be powered by batteries or by an external
±
15-V
power supply. There are two models available, each
based on a different photodetector. Free-space (FS) and
fiber-coupled (FC) versions are available for each
model:

The 10-MHz three-stage transimpedance amplifier
includes selectable gain and selectable low- and high-
pass filters for easy signal optimization.
