ENGINE LACKS ACCELERATION OR POWER
1. Fouled or damaged spark plug.

Check item ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT FAILS TO START.
2. Lack of fuel to engine.

Check item ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT FAILS TO START.
3. Carburetor adjustments.
–
Contact an authorized Bombardier ATV dealer.
4. Engine is overheating.
–
Check ENGINE OVERHEATING in SPECIAL PROCEDURES.
–
If overheating persists, contact an authorized Bombardier ATV dealer.
5. Air filter/box plugged or dirty.
–
Check air filter and clean if necessary.
–
Check deposits in air box drain.
–
Check the position of the air intake tube.
6. CVT dirty or worn-out.

Contact an authorized Bombardier ATV dealer.
ENGINE BACKFIRE
1. Exhaust system leakage.

2. Engine is running too hot.
