Mounting steps
1. Mount the track (1) on the wall using the mounted wall
brackets (2) or directly without wall brackets.
2. Insert the trolley hangers (3) with the support screws into
the track (1). Here it is important to make sure that the
catch hook of the trolley hanger (3) faces the SmartStop
device (4), see fig. 4.
3. Insert the SmartStop device (4) at the respective end of the
track and fix it. Tension the damper. To do this, push the
driving forks into the end position using a screwdriver until
they snap into the recess.
Attention: Only tension SmartStop when mounted in
the track!
4. The glass pane has to be clean and free of grease, so clean
the glass pane (clamping areas) with e. g. ethyl alcohol
or acetone. In addition, we recommend cleaning the plastic
surfaces in the glass clamp piece (5). Slip on the glass
clamp pieces (5) completely according to fig. 2 with
a respective clearance to the door edge of 110 mm and
tighten the torx screws (TX30) evenly with 15 Nm.
5. Hang the sliding door, align it and tighten the lock nuts on
the glass clamp pieces.
6. Position the bottom guide, mark, drill and fix it.
7. Position the dampers in the desired end positions of the
doors.

Installation instructions
SlideTec optima module 80-SmartStop
GLASS
The damper puts an end to sliding doors that close
noisily and bounce back. The door is caught before
reaching the end position and then pulled into the end
position and held there.
