04 Safety Information
General safety instructions
Observe the enclosed safety information for electrical tools as well as the
supplementary safety and operating information for machines with PRCD
safety switches.
Safety information for the Pico Drill 100 machines
Do not touch the running drill spindle
Use only sharp drills.
Secure the glass sheet against slipping.
The machine is only suitable for use on horizontally lying glass sheets.
To prevent the drill from lifting up the machine, it is recommended to affix
the suction feet (picture A, 1) to the glass.
Wear ear protection!
To connect the machine to a central water supply, connect the 1/2" hose
which is included to an appropriate stop-cock of the water supply.
When
you are finished drilling, this valve is to be shut off!
The stop-cock at the machine is only used to dispense and shut off the
coolant supply during drilling with the Pico Drill.
When using the laser:
The optional laser corresponds to laser class 2.
Do not look into the laser beam.
The laser light reflects on glass and mirror surfaces. For
this reason, the reflection guard (picture A, 2) must be
installed if the laser is used.
