Remove the stone supports and burner.

Remove the right fl ap (gas connection).

Connect the connection tube to the gas pipe (on the right of the appliance) (1/2” gas). The

gas pipes must be free of dirt. Check there are no leaks, turn off  all gas appliances and check

that the meter does not move for 5 minutes.

Connect the transformer. The transformer and the operating light (LED) should ideally be instal

led in an accessible place outside the appliance.

Test the lighting of the pilot light (purge the fl ue).

On fi rst lighting (start of season or new

installation), air in the gas fl ue may disrupt fl ame detection. In this case, simply restart the

appliance several times (to purge the fl ue), and you must open the door after each

 unsuccessful

att empt to light, in order to prevent gas accumulating in the combustion

 chamber.

Position the fl ap, burner and stone support. Spread the gravel uniformly over the burners and

stone support (an excess quantity may be provided depending on the model of fi replace).

The

pilot light outlet aperture MUST NOT BE BLOCKED BY THE GRAVEL.

Close the door using the tool.

Test the lighting a few times, and check that the fl ame is spread evenly. Reposition the gravel if

 necessary.

Lighting the appliance: check there is a fl ame at the pilot light and wait at least for the litt le

fl ame drawing to stop fl ashing before lighting the burner.

CHECK THAT THE APPLIANCE WORKS PROPERLY.Close the chimney and fi nish fi tt ing.

Fan installation

The fan is fi tt ed from inside.
aRCHIYou must:

1.

Remove the stones if they are already in place.

2.

Remove the stone support and burners.

3.

Unscrew the large hatch (the one with the injectors and pilot light).

4.

Place the fan inside the fi replace using silent blocks to position it.

Att ention: the power lead may be plugged in either inside the fi replace or below it by passing it through the hole
provided for this purpose; make sure the fan is installed the right way round! Blower directed towards the back.

5.

Replace the hatch, burners, stone support and stones.

6.

Close the door.

Electricity supply -> Thermal switch -> Fan

Note:

The fan may be mounted under the fi replace. Put the fan through the lower hole. Position it using silent

blocks in the four housings provided for this purpose. Leave room for the electrical lead.

A thermal switch activates the fan when the appliance is hot and cuts it out when the appliance cools

 down.
