Connecting the power supply
Electrical connection

Insert the plug.
The bottom router is designed for 230–240 V 50/60 Hz.

Mount a plug conforming to CSA or UL requirements.

Don't hardwire the bottom router directly to the supply circuit

In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least
resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This tool is
equipped with an electric cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and
a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into a matching outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. Do not
modify the plug provided - if it will not fit the outlet, have the proper

Connecting the dust extraction
system
➢
Insert an extraction hose with an inner diameter of 50 mm (2") into the
dust extraction socket [9] and secure it.

Ensure that the average air velocity for the dust extraction system
is at least 20 m/sec.
➢
The negative pressure must be 250–300 mbar.
➢
Move the carriage [S1] across the full length.
Check that the cable and hose can move freely.
Avoid tensioning or scraping the cable and hose.
