of small size range. Medium size range ear-muffs will fit the majority of

•
Ensure that:

with the manufacturer's instructions.

– the ear protectors are regularly inspected for serviceability
•
This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further
information should be sought from the manufacturer.
•
Ear-muffs, and in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be
examined at frequent intervals for cracking and leakage, for example.
•
The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic
performance of the ear protectors.
•
Worn or damaged ear protectors can provide inferior protection. If the cups are
cracked, if the seals are worn or defective, or if they have been exposed to
chemicals, they should be discarded.
•
The audibility of warning signals is impaired when wearing ear protectors.
•
The cups, especially the cushions, can deteriorate over time and should always
be examined before use to make sure they are not cracked or admit noise.
•
Attaching hygienic protection on the cushions can affect the acoustic properties
of the cups.
•
When used correctly these ear defenders provide excellent protection from
high-frequency noise, which is the major problem with noisy machinery and
chainsaws, etc.
