Riding the e-scooter
Preparation before riding
1. Find a suitable place.
2. Unfold the e-scooter according to the specified instructions.
See Step 2 Folding the e-scooter.
3. Make sure your handlebars are parallel to your body before starting the e-scooter.
4. Before using the e-scooter, make a visual check that all bolts and nuts are are
tight and in place. If any component is missing or shows signs of wear and tear,
or if you are unsure of the technical condition, bring the e-scooter in for inspection
to an authorised service centre.
5. Always check the brakes and mechanical functions before each ride.
6. Make sure that the safety lock of the folding mechanism is well secured.
Riding on the electric e-scooter
1. Press the power button (ON/OFF) for more than 3 seconds to activate the e-scooter.
2. For a safer start, start with the help of another person. First place one foot on the deck
of the e-scooter, leaving the other foot securely on the ground. Slowly press the throttle.
3. When the e-scooter starts moving, place the other foot on the e-scooter, press
the throttle, accelerate.
4. To activate the electric e-scooter drive from zero speed, it is necessary to push off
sev eral times from the ground to achieve a certain speed. You can then use the control
levers on the handle to add gas and accelerate the e-scooter (setting P5 – value 1).
If the P5 is set to 0, you do not need to push off to activate the electric drive.
5. When braking, tilt your weight backwards so that the braking effect comes across
the legs rather than the handlebars and steering.
Stopping the e-scooter
Squeeze the brake slightly to reduce power to the engine and reduce the speed. Place
one foot on the ground after braking. Never abruptly brake or stand on the brakes,
it may lead to faster wear on the braking mechanism and consequently reduce comfort
from riding.
Automatic shutdown
When the e-scooter is stopped (speed = 0) and you do not intervene with the display
for more than 3 minutes, the system will automatically shut down and save energy.
TIP:
To accelerate, tilt forward, moving your weight backwards when braking.
