The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water.
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
The iron is not designed for usual usage.
The iron must be used and rested in a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
which the stand is a placed is stable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible
signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Do not repair the unit by yourself if you are unclear about this
appliance because high voltage inside.
NOTE:
When using the iron for the first time, you may notice a slight
emission of smoke and hear some sounds made by expanding
plastics. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time. We also
recommend passing the iron over an ordinary cloth before using it
for the first time.
When using steam ironing, you are recommending to using
distilled water.
Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or
steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down –
there may be hot water in the reservoir.
Use steam when temperature knob is at least at “••”
Do not use chemical additive, scented substances or detergent.
Failure to comply with the above mentioned regulations leads to
the loss of guarantee.
FOR STEAM IRONING:
Please fill this iron with normal tap water before using for the first time.
For refilling, you can also use tap water. However, if the water is very
hard it is advisable to use distilled water.
The steps for filling water
Remove the main plug from the wall socket before filling the iron.
Set the steam control to position 0 (=no steam) and temperature at 0.
Open the filling aperture.
Pour water into the filling aperture.
Use the measuring beaker with spout for this purpose.
Close the filling funnel.
Set iron temperature.
