Occasionally the problem is a loose wire or blown fuse. The Fault Tracing
Diagram may be helpful.
CAUTION:
If the BugE still won’t go, You may have a bad Controller,
Throttle or Motor. Contact the manufacturer.

Is the On/Off Key inserted and turned?
Yes
No
Is the Handlebar Control On/Off Switch On?
Are the batteries charged up?
Is the Parking Brake Off?
Were you going up a steep hill, or “hot rodding”?
Is the motor hot?
No
Do the Headlights work?
No
Check the big Fuse between the
controller and the Batteries and
the yellow fuse in the fairing.
Is either one blown?
Yes
Replace it with a
new one at an
automotive part
store.
No
Any obvious
loose cables or
connections?
No
Is the chain broken,
derailed or jammed?
Yes
Tighten
them and
try again.
Yes
Repair
the
chain
Let the motor
cool down.
A strong odor
may indicate
motor damage.
