4.6 CTP Part
Most of the problems in this part represent of LCD as No touch function problem and local
part no function.
The check steps as below:
1. No touch function, check the connection of CTP and mainboard. if is OK, reconnect
CTP or change the CTP.
2. local part no function change the CTP is OK.
4.7 Camera part
Camera is composed of lens, sensor and connector etc. turn on camera function, camera
sensor output the data which get from camera view. The data into CPU then processed to
LCD, so we can see the image in LCD.
Camera function troubleshooting:
1. Check if the issue caused by operation process or soldering first.
2. Check if the camera sensor(module) is good,
3. Check camera’s power supply which comes from camera LDO, then check the LDO’s
enable signal.
4. Check the Horizontal and vertical synchronizing signal, check Pixel and frame clock also.
5. Check if the issue caused by soldering process or performance of CPU.
4.8 SIM card issue:
LIFE 8 VSIM can supply 3.0V and 1.8V power, it base on SIM card type, that means if the
SIM card is 1.8V supply, CPU will output 1.8V VSIM, if SIM card is 3.0V supply, CPU
will output 3.0V VSIM. CPU output 3.0V first at power on, if cannot identify SIM card,
then output 1.8V VSIM to identify SIM card, if failed, change to 3.0 VSIM again, it failed
to read SIM card all the same, the VSIM will turn off by software. This is phone how to
detect SIM card and cost several second. The SIMCLK (3.25MHz or 1.083MHz, base on
SIM card type) produce at detect SIM card and read or write SIM card. LIFE 8 supports
dual SIM card.
If the phone cannot identify SIM card, please confirm insert the SIM card in right direction,
then check soldering issue of SIM card connector, if any soldering issue of the circuit
which around the SIM card also.
Check SIM card itself carefully.
