Numeric keypad
Layout of the numeric keypad is identical to layouts which were used in older button
phones. There are four rows of three buttons each. First row contains buttons one,
two, and three. Second row contains buttons four, five, and six. Third row contains
buttons seven, eight, and nine. Last, fourth row, contains buttons
asterisk
(star),
zero
, and
hash
(number sign).
0 - 9 buttons
In a menu, pressing a
number button
(except zero) will move you to the
corresponding item in the menu. For example: While being in the main menu,
pressing the number 3 will move you to the third menu item called
Contacts
. To
select the item press the
confirm button
afterwards. In the main menu, long
pressing a
number button
will produce a corresponding quick dial contact.
Pressing the
confirm button
afterwards will initiate a call to that contact. If no
contact is assigned to the pressed number, you will be able to do so now. You can
have up to 10 contacts stored for the quick dial.
Asterisk button
Long pressing the
asterisk button
(bottom left button) anywhere in the menu will
lock the phone. To unlock the the phone long press the asterisk again. This feature
can be switched off in the
Settings
.
Hash button
Long pressing the
hash button
(bottom right button) anywhere in the menu will
bring up a menu with sound profile options (silent, vibration, loud)
Using the numeric keypad to input text
In an input mode the numeric keypad buttons are used to input text, numbers, and
special characters. Each button, except the hash button, which changes
capitalization of the letters, contains a group of characters. You can cycle through
the group of characters by pressing the respective button multiple times. For
example:

contains characters A,B,C, and number 2. To enter the letter
B – press the button twice. To enter the number 2 – press the button four times.

contains punctuation special characters.

The
asterisk button
contains the rest of the special characters.
•
Button zero
contains number 0 and a space.
•
The
hash button
changes the capitalization of the letters, and switches
between numeric and alphanumeric keyboard.

Long press of the
hash button
will bring up a menu with emojis. To input an
emoji, select it with the
confirm button
.
Voice dictation
Important notice:
In order to make use of the voice dictation function, you have to
be connected to the Internet via WiFi or a mobile network.
As an alternative to inputting text by typing it on the keypad, voice dictation
function can be used. While in an input mode (typing a message, a note, and so on)
