Clarity CL29 SP

INSTALLATION

VENT RESTRICTOR

Due to the high draft produced by certain venting 
confi gurations the vent restrictor may be adjusted 
to maintain performance.  If vent restriction is 
necessary it can be adjusted as follows:

1.  Turn off  the appliance and allow it to cool 

down completely.

2.  Remove the safety screen trim and glass 

door, set aside. (see 

GLASS DOOR 

REMOVAL

)

3.  Move the restrictor tab off  of the restrictor 

index plate. 

(Fig.17)

4.  Adjust the restrictor index plate to one of 

the slots to obtain desired fl ame and reset 
the restrictor tab into the restrictor index 
plate slot.

5.  Reinstall the door and safety screen trim.
