Setting the DAB waveband
With the Woodstock DAB52 you can
receive DAB stations and ensembles on
the following wavebands: “Band III”
(174 - 240 MHz) and “L-Band” (1452 -
1492 MHz). Since some countries do
not use both wavebands, you can speed
up seek tuning by excluding the unsup-
ported waveband.

If “BAND L” or “BAND III” are set, only
the selected waveband will be used. If
“BOTH” is set, both wavebands will be
used.

Note:
If the region is set to “AREA CANADA”,
only “BAND L” is available.
Switching between DAB and FM
You can select various settings for
switching between the DAB and FM
radio modes It might be necessary to
switch from DAB to FM radio if DAB re-
ception quality decreases severely.
If you select the “DAB-FM-AUTO” set-
ting, the unit automatically tunes into the
FM frequency of the station currently
being received (in so far as the station
is receivable on FM). If “DAB-FM-MAN”
is set, the unit tunes into the FM fre-
quency of the received DAB station as
soon as you manually switch to FM ra-
dio mode (in so far as the station is re-
ceivable on FM). If you set “DAB-FM-
OFF”, the FM station that you listened
to last will be played when you switch
to FM radio mode (in so far as the sta-
tion can be received).
