BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all paper, carton and foil protecting the appliance and its parts.
The iron may emit a delicate smoke and smell the first time it is used.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the power source before attaching or detaching the
water tank or water bottle with the adapter to the unit body.
Remove the water tank (7) by turning it gently to the left. Open the water tank cap (8) and fill the tank
with water, not exceeding the MAX level. Close the cap and attach the tank to the unit body.
Instead of the water tank, you may alternatively use a standard bottle with water. Attach the bottle
adapter (9) to the bottle neck, with the hose immersed in water. Use the bottle filled with water to
verify if the adapter hose is below the water level.
IRONING
Fill the water tank. Connect the unit to the power source. Press the start button (4) to switch on the
unit. When pressing the button once, the unit will start at high steam intensity mode (the LED
indicator turns blue). If you press the button again, the unit will switch to a mode in which it uses half
of its steam intensity (the LED indicator turns green). You can switch between the operation modes by
pressing the start button. After the unit has been switched on, the LED indicator will start blinking to
indicate that the steamer is heating up.
When the LED indicator stop to blink, the unit is ready for operation. It is recommended to point the
first jet of steam away from the garments (as it may contain water droplets).
The unit will start to release steam after the steam button has been pressed (6). In order to block the
steam button, slide the button lock down. To unblock the steam button, slide the button lock up.
The steamer is meant to be used for vertical steaming. Avoid using the unit in a horizontal position.
AUTO SHUT-OFF
The unit will automatically shut off when left idle for more than 8 minutes. To start the unit again, press
the start button.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Never immerse the iron in water. Ensure that the iron has cooled down. Wipe the body of the iron with a
slightly damp cloth, then wipe it until it is dry. The soleplate should be wiped with a soft cloth.
