Sound settings

Volume distribution (fader/balance)

You can adjust the volume distribution in the vehicle 
for all sources.

 

In the current source, press the

The equalizer menu is displayed.

Note:

The equalizer menu features a time-out function 
(time window).

 

Press the

The menu for fader and balance is displayed.

You can adjust the equalizer for all sources.

Basic settings

In the settings menu of the device, you can adjust the ba-
sic settings for the diff erent functions of the Los Angeles 
500 to your requirements.

 

In the main menu, press the 

Settings

 button.

The settings menu is displayed, the 

General

 sub-

menu is activated.

 

Call up the submenus with the buttons in the lower 
area of the settings menu.

Video

The following settings are possible:

Camera input

 – Adjust camera image (if a camera is con-

nected)

Video Input

 – Adjust the colour system of the external 

video input

DivX registration

 – Display of the DivX® registration 

code

General

The following settings are possible:

Tuner region

 – Select the reception region for the radio 

reception.

RDS

 – Switch RDS on/off 

TA VOL

 – Set the minimum volume for traffi

  c announce-

ments

Beep

 – Switch confi rmation beep on/off 

Calibration

 – The touchscreen can be calibrated here.

SWC

 – The buttons of a connected steering wheel con-

trol can be confi gured here.

Load factory

 – Resets all personalised settings. 

Time

The following settings are possible:

Clock mode

 – Selection between 12 and 24-h mode

Clock

 – Set the time

Sound

The following settings are possible:

Loudness

 – Adjust the increase of bass at low volume.

Subwoofer

 – Switch subwoofer on/off 

Sub fi lter

 – Make the setting according to the subwoofer 

used (settings: 80/120/160 Hz). 

Bass Q

 – Adjust the quality factor for bass (settings: 

1.0/1.25/1.5/2.0).

Mid Q

 – Adjust the quality factor for middle (settings: 

0.5/0.75/1.0/1.25).
