Confi rm
Confi rm that the new fi lter
has been inserted by press-
ing “OK”.
Screw in the fi lter as far as
it will go, so that you can no
longer see the screw fi tting.
Read off the fi lter capacity
from the fi lter documents.
Enter the fi gure manually.
Confi rm by pressing “OK”.
The remaining fi lter
capacity is reset and
shows 99 % again. The
system is cleaned and
ready for operation again.
The cleaning process
will then take 5 to 10
minutes. Do not drink
any water that is rinsed
out during the entire cleaning
process!
For descaling fi lters,
the local water hard-
ness must be known
in order to ascertain the
correct fi lter capacity.
Note that centralised water
softening changes the value
for your household, which
then no longer corresponds
to the value given by your
water company.
Note: the cleaning program
uses CO
2
. This amount is
automatically deducted from
the remaining capacity.
As such, it is normal for
readings to diff er before and
after cleaning.
