Change a word in the custom dictionary
1. In the device options, click Spell Check.
2. Click Custom Dictionary.
3. Highlight a word.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Change the word.
6. Click the trackball.
Delete a word from the custom dictionary
1. In the device options, click Spell Check.
2. Click Custom Dictionary.
3. Highlight a word.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Delete.
Word list
About the custom word list
If the typing input language for your BlackBerry® device is Arabic or Russian, and you type a word or letter combination that your device
does not recognize, your device adds the word or letter combination to the custom word list. You can also add words or letter combinations
manually to the custom word list.
Your device deletes words from the custom word list if you do not use them.
Add a custom word list item
1. In the device options, click Custom Wordlist.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Click New.
4. Type a word or letter combination.
5. Click the trackball.
6. Click Save.
