Avoid routes that include toll roads, highways, or
ferries
Change your route and avoid toll roads, highways and ferries.
Before you begin:
You must be in navigation mode or the
navigation overview
screen to adjust route options.
1. In the Action Bar, tap

Route Options
.
3.
Select the checkboxes beside the types of routes you want to avoid.
Tip:
To always avoid certain types of routes, select the
Apply these settings to all routes
checkbox.

Save
.
Recalculate routes
While en route, manually recalculate your directions when you make a wrong turn or would like alternative directions.
1. In the Action Bar, tap

Tap the screen if the Action Bar is not visible.

Add a new place to your favorites
