BACKUP
SETUP
You
can
copy
recorded
Video/Audio
files
from
DVR(HDD)
to
CD/DVD
or
USB
memory
stick.
Backup
process
will
not
prevent
DVR
from
any
other
operation.
You
can
select
a
backup
file
type
either
AVI
or
MPEG4.
If
you
need
a
file
with
authentication
,
select
MPEG4
file
type.
Otherwise,
select
AVI
file
type
for
an
easy
playback
with
a
Microsoft
Media
Player
or
any
other
popular
media
players.
1.
Insert
a
blank
CD/DVD
into
CD/DVD
‐
burner
or
insert
USB
memory
stick
to
USB
port
on
front
panel.
2.
Select
CD/DVD
backup
or
USB
Backup
3.
Set
the
STARTING
and
ENDING
time.
Select
the
camera(channel)#
for
backup.
4.
Select
the
file
type.
AVI
or
MPEG4
5.
Press
OK
button
and
you
will
see
the
total
files
size
and
available
space of
CD
or
USB.
6.
Press
START
for
backup.
You
will
see
Backup
icon
on
the
left
‐
top
of
the
screen
until
it
completes
Backup.
Error
message
#1
:
If
your
selected
data
size
exceeds
the
current
available
storage
space,
an
error
message
:
Data
size
is
too
big
for
CD/DVD/USB
will
be
shown.
Error
message
#2
:
If
starting/ending
time
is
not
set
correctly
or
there
are
no
recorded
files
during
selected
time
or
camera(channel),
you’ll
see
this
error
message
:
Not
Available.
Important:
Backup
time
may
take
longer
than
normal
if
the
DVR
is
in
an
operation
of
recording,
playback
and/or
network
transmission
If
your
PC
does
not
have
Windows
Media
Player
10,
you
can
download
it.
Go
to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx
If
your
Windows
Media
Player
10
can
not
display
video
properly, run
xvid.exe
file
to
your
PC
from
the
Installation
CD.
