- The Vacuum Pump is shipped without oil in the oil reservoir. Remove the exhaust cap and add oil until it is seen at the maximum fill point on the oil
sight glass. Re-secure cap.
- Connect the vacuum pump to the proper power supply.
- With all caps in place, turn on the vacuum pump. Run for 2 minutes to allow for proper lubrication.
- Re-check vacuum pump oil level. Add oil if necessary.
To achieve good ultimate vacuum levels, the oil level should be no lower than the midpoint of the sight glass.

OPERATION:
WARNING:
Do not operate on systems or vessels under pressure. Damage to the pump may occur. Pressure of the system or vessel should be at or
below 0 PSIG (atmospheric pressure).
1. Check and connect to the correct power supply.
2. Check oil level in vacuum pump.
3. Connect vacuum pump pump as shown in Figure 1.
4. Check pressure on manifold set to ensure at or below 0 PSIG.
5. Open manifold valves.
6. Turn Vacuum Pump power switch to ON
7. Run vacuum pump until final vacuuum level is obtained.
8. Once the final vacuum level is reached, close the manifold valves, turn power switch OFF.
Vacuum Operation is now complete.
Vacuum Pump is now ready for use.
