6. Insert the three M10 bolts through the mounting plate and secure with the M10
lock nuts.
7.
Tighten the bolts ensuring the whole unit is tightly secured to the A-Frame.

the other end of the negative wire to the negative terminal on the 12 volt power

power. Connect the other end of the positive black wire to the positive power
supply. Alternatively, unravel the red wire (supplied with the optional installation
kit BJTJ-1001) and lay it out along the A-frame to the battery. Secure the wire
with cable ties. Position the cable in a way to protect it from damage if possible.
Connect the wire lead to the battery’s positive terminal (+). A 30 amp in-line fuse
is recommended on the positive wire between the Black Jack and the 12 volt
power supply.

The Extend\Retract switch is OFF in its natural position. Press EXT to extend the
Black Jack and RET to retract the Black Jack. WARNING: When the Black Jack is
fully extended or fully retracted the EXT\RET switch must be released immediately.
Failure to release the switch can result in significant internal mechanical damage to
the Black Jack.
The ON\OFF switch is for the light only. It does NOT switch power on or off to the
Black Jack
The Black Jack has a built-in circuit breaker which automatically trips and resets. It is
designed to protect against power surges.
WARNING! Never apply horizontal force against the jack. The load may shift and
cause the jack to fail, creating a dangerous situation for the user or bystanders.
