El cargador de batería lleva dispositivos de seguridad que aseguran su funcionamiento y
uso seguros.
Protección total contra chispas
Protección contra cortocircuitos
Protección contra el recalentamiento
Protección contra la polaridad inversa
2.5.
Pruebas de batería e indicaciones de error
Si el LED de carga está en OFF (apagado), puede ser debido a las siguientes razones/fallos:
CAUSA
SOLUCIÓN
Las pinzas/anillas del cable de salida no
están bien conectados a la batería.
Polaridad inversa.
Coloque las pinzas/anillas correctamente
y vuelva a cargar la batería.
Cables desconectados, cables en
cortocircuito.
Batería completamente cortocircuitada.
Puede que la batería esté defectuosa.
Consulte al servicio técnico de la batería.
Batería descargada.

Ponga todo en OFF (encendido, calefacción, luces…)
antes de usar el si la batería está instalada en el vehículo.
Limpie los bornes de la batería antes de usar el
cargador.
3.1.
Cargar una batería
1.
Antes de conectar el cargador: ¡compruebe que el cable de alimentación no esté
conectado a la red!
2.
Conexión a la batería
Compruebe primero que el borne negativo esté conectado/a masa en el chasis. Si no
lo está, consulte al vendedor.
Conecte el cable de salida al cargador.
Cable de salida con pinzas
Conecte la pinza roja (+) al borne positivo (+) de la batería, luego la pinza negra (-) a
masa/chasis del vehículo (una pieza maciza de metal del bastidor o del bloque de
motor. No la conecte al carburador ni a los conductos de combustible).
Cable de salida con anillas
Afloje y retire las tuercas de los bornes de la batería. Conecte la anilla positiva (+) al
borne positivo (+) de la batería, y luego conecte la anilla negativa (-) al borne negativo
(-). Cambie y apriete bien las tuercas.
En ambos casos: compruebe que el cable de salida del cargador esté bien conectado.
